Amazon Basics 23A Alkaline Battery Review

Bought a box of these and they seemed to work but not very well. Finally I took four loose from the box and four more in plastic wrap and put them on a multimeter to check their voltage. The voltage of the two loose batteries was 1.3 volts and the voltage of the remaining six batteries was 1.4 volts. For comparison, I took a couple of brand new Energizer batteries out of the packaging and measured them. They were all the expected 1.6 volts. I can't say the Revain batteries were DOA at 1.3-1.4…

Fits me perfectly. All batteries work, not faulty. Arrived shrink wrapped, not a bag as some of the comments said. All four used to replace the batteries in the most commonly used fans in the home. Can't comment on durability as they should last four or five years as long as the original fans that came with the fans when you bought them lasted. I would have to wait that long to tell if they lasted long enough or not. Other Revain Basics (AA camera batteries) I've bought have worked great. Worth

There are many conflicting opinions about the lifespan of these batteries. People don't mention the type of device and how often they use it. physically small, its performance is lower. These batteries provide more power (12 volts) which gives devices such as remotes/key fobs etc enough power to run long distances, but some devices use much more power than others.
