Good idea adjustable jaw locks should be stronger, they move from where they were installed. The handle could have been bent differently to allow you to squeeze the sponges more, they don't squeeze hard enough on most filters I remove. With a few small tweaks, this could be a great pair of filter tongs, but it falls a bit short.
