I rate them as the top 6 multi-tooth pliers

Long, thick metal handles that indicate heavy weight 4 great levers that improve grip Great if you work in the automotive industry, you need the best I seen and used before

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • I'll be silent

100% useless! - Hand tool

Looks like a great idea, but they're actually completely useless. Jaws do not stay in place. If you need to approach the filter from even the slightest angle, they simply fold in opposite directions as soon as you try to rotate the filter. One of the biggest tool frustrations I've ever had.

Pros
  • Wedge pliers
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

. With some minor tweaks this could be a great filter tong

Good idea, the latches for the adjustable jaws should be stronger, they move from where they were placed. The handle can be bent in different ways to allow you to close the jaws further, they don't close tight enough on most filters I remove. With a few small tweaks, this could be a great pair of filter tongs, but it falls a bit short.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Guards

100% useless! for power tools and hand tools

Looks like a great idea but really is useless. Jaws do not stay in place. If you need to approach the filter from even the slightest angle, they simply fold in opposite directions as soon as you try to rotate the filter. One of the biggest tool frustrations I've ever had.

Pros
  • Jaws are angle adjustable so you can use the pliers from different access points
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

. With a few tweaks this could be a great filter pick

Good idea adjustable jaw locks should be stronger, they move from where they were installed. The handle could have been bent differently to allow you to squeeze the sponges more, they don't squeeze hard enough on most filters I remove. With a few small tweaks, this could be a great pair of filter tongs, but it falls a bit short.

Pros
  • Proven design with precision teeth to dig into metal filter housing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
