My 996 Carrera airbag fault light went out.
This removed the airbag error light on my 1999 996 Carrera. It immediately paid for the scanner, not for the store to turn off the light. As with many items made in China, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I believe this is because they were translated from Chinese to English. But I was able to figure out how to connect it to my laptop and update to the latest software. It took me a while to figure out how to get to the airbag module to reset the fault light. But I managed without contacting customer service. Overall I am very happy with the Icarsoft p700 v1.0 scanner and would recommend it to all Porsche owners who enjoy working on their cars.
