Review on Purolator P1231 Transmission Filter by Mahmut Ojeda

I bought this filter for my '97 Toyota Camry 5S-FE because I am a Purolator fanatic and knew this filter would be perfect for my car. It fits perfectly and the quality is top notch. The only criticism is the included transmission pan gasket. It's a hybrid gasket of cork and rubber, and they don't last long before they start falling apart. I had an extra solid rubber seal from the Duralast transmission filter that was practically new so I decided to reuse it. I know the rubber will last a lot longer and provide a better seal both now and in the future. But there is absolutely nothing to complain about the filter. Give your car the best with Purolator and never have filter problems again
