The camera does exactly what I bought it for - look at me. I installed it for three months and had no problems. Good viewing angle, easy to mount on my particular car, easy to connect cables. It stays directed where I want. It worked first time on my Atoto head unit. Picture quality does flicker a bit in small spots when it's bright, but I don't expect it to perform like a high-end HD TV (especially for the price). Full color resolution is suitable for work. I washed my car once with no problems. Night vision is also very good. You don't need a lot of light to see well. The taillights on the car provide most of that, and the extra light is a bonus that helps even more. I also hooked it up to a manual switch, so it's kind of funny to see the highway pull back at 70 mph. In this situation, it also shows cars in my blind spots on both sides, so even more security. The recommendations provided are functional but fairly basic, so I use my head unit's extras, which are fully adjustable. There are also plenty of picture settings (color, brightness, etc.) so check your head unit for that. The only caveat I have is that the cables from the camera end in fairly large plugs, so the hole you need them in your car needs to be half an inch in diameter (13mm). I really didn't want to drill into metal (especially this big one) so I fed them through the hole where one of my license plate lights is mounted. I ended up cutting a hole in the flashlight's plastic body to allow the wires to go through, then sealed it with foam tape. So far no water leaks/rain. Wiring back to my main unit was tricky but fun. If you already have this wiring, all the better. Fun fact: I recently tested the circuit and found that the camera only draws 80mA of current when it's on. So for those who need this information for planning please. It doesn't use much power at all.
