Love It - Slightly warped

I'm a foodie who has looked at countless different types of cutting boards. While not my favorite wood choice (e.g. teak), acacia wood is a great wood for a cutting board. It has a moderate Yanke hardness, making it safer for knives than bamboo. This board is beautiful with a very nice finish. The size is perfect for things like a quick salad or making an omelette. The only thing that worries me is that the board is slightly deformed. With a one-sided cut, everything is fine. But when it is turned over, it spins like a top due to deformation. It's not noticeable, I only noticed it when I flipped the board. However, it has become my favorite medium-sized board for small prep jobs. If it were the same on both sides it would be 5 stars.

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • Good, but not great
