I have an older Netgear RangeMax AP and decided to replace it with this one to get Wireless-N and maybe even better coverage. I do not work. This thing only gave me full signal strength when I was within 6 feet of it, and even that didn't always work. Tried all the tech support tips from the Netgear website and tried to tweak the configuration in almost every way I could think of. , but couldn't get it to do anything remotely resembling a strong or fast signal. Eventually I reverted to the old RangeMax which offers excellent coverage and a stronger signal. Find out. But for now I can live without WiFi. To be honest, it can of course be that I just have a defective device.
