We don’t do bagged grated cheese in our house and I’m constantly searching for a good grater. I really enjoy using this for small grate, large grate and slicing. It slices a carrot in no time! The small grate is especially useful for cold butter to put in pie crust or biscuits, alleviating a lot of the "cutting in” time. I was unclear on the suction stand so was a bit wobbly the first time, but once I figured out the lock and release that was pretty good. My two biggest drawbacks are the fact that the grated product gets stuck in the barrel if you’re not emptying about every 2-3 turns, and the height is not really appropriate for most of my vessels so I’m dirtying a plate to put product on instead of being able to grate right into a bowl. I’ve purchased a second one for my son and think he will also enjoy it.
