Works well for welders
This is the type of desoldering tool I have used and I actually prefer it to the spring loaded type. When I saw it I had to have it. So far this has worked well. The tip is a bit larger than expected, but so far that's not a problem. Ideally they should have two tips, one as large as this one and the other smaller for fine work.
