They make water taste so good my husband and I can't stand tap water anymore! I think it's because of what they're adding (magnesium) and not what they're removing. They are only intended for use in a suitable O2 filter jug. We found that we could use them for about 60 pot fills before the flavor noticeably deteriorated. That's about twice as many refills as the manufacturer recommends. Tasty water! If I don't post an update, you can assume all three filters worked fine for me.
