This plastic box has thick and durable walls. I can trust this box because it uses metal bolts to connect the two halves, not just plastic sliding clips. (Make sure the nuts are tight.) The mounting holes allowed me to mount them in the back of my SUV, which is a great feature. Plastic crate, although my dogs have never done this before. Unfortunately there are holes in the back of this box that are not protected by a wire screen. The large openings on the sides have metal bars, but offer more chewing protection on the outside than on the inside. If you look at the photo with the door open, you can see that the corners of the side plastic window openings are not covered with a metal mesh. Overall, I really like it for my dogs who aren't crate chewers, but you never know when that might change, so... But it's JustMe.
