Cons: If you buy this device, you will have to deal with a few bugs/oddities. The back button is in different places, in different shapes, there is no consistency. This device will ONLY turn on when charging begins. The only button it has has no effect on turning it on. If the device is fully charged, it will not turn on when you turn it on. To turn it on you have to wait for the battery to run out, which can take several hours. The good thing is that it usually does not charge fully. For that, you may need to turn it off if it's plugged in. For example, when you're done with your trip, you'll be asked if you want to turn it off. If you do, be sure to unplug it so it doesn't charge fully, and you can plug it back in without waiting. Javascript must be disabled to visit the map update website. (Also, be sure to read the update instructions.) The suction cups don't actually work. In most places it didn't work at all, in places where I found it worked the device failed after about a minute. List of turning directions, or at least I didn't find them. Pros: It's a lot faster than my old Garmin (with a card that expired about 6 years ago). Free lifetime updates. (Some devices don't offer this) Well, what it advertises is of course your choice of traffic detectors, some of which can read street names.
