I ordered these because I was tired of not having lunch essentials at work. I stumbled across them on Amazon and fell in love! They're strong, cheap, and most importantly, better for the environment than their plastic counterparts. I use them regularly at work, at the beach, at the BBQ etc. I haven't had any of those breaks. I. On the other hand, plastic knives regularly break under pressure. Since they're made of wood, you'll have to work at not melting them in the heat. I live in Miami, so if you leave plastic paraphernalia in the car, for example, they will melt. I definitely recommend them for many activities, not just working lunches. They can be used for events, priests, BBQs, the beach and even for kids.
