Affordable and powerful. Would like a hard case for storage.

I bought this set to see hard to see signals from a long distance when working on the railway. During the day when the nearest signal is more than 1/2 mile away it's sometimes difficult to see the display so I take this monocular to find it. This monocular has excellent range and focus. A little shaky and hard to focus while the locomotive is running but it will be how I use it for me. When we sit still I can see everything in my field of vision very well, including reading street signs from about 450 meters away. It is compact and comes with a padded case (with belt loop). Although I wouldn't trust the belt loop in the long run. Its small profile doesn't take up much room in my hand, but a hard case would have been better to keep it safe in my pocket. This would be a great product for an ornithologist, hunter, tourist or neighborhood spy (joke). And for the price it can't be beat.
