Fits perfectly and took about 10 minutes and saved me about $50 working at my local dealer. No greasy hands, just soapy road dirt. The airbox attaches with 2 metal clips so no tools are needed on the Subaru BUT. There is very little space to remove the old air filter and insert a new air filter. It took a few minutes to wiggle the airbox cover just enough for the required clearance and took about 2-4 minutes to put it back in place so it was properly seated. It can be a little frustrating if you're not mechanical, but it's manageable and you'll get better. I was checking out my teenage daughters and next year it was their turn!
