I really wanted this peeler to be liked and as soon as I opened the box I knew what I wanted. It is very durable and makes a well-made impression. I grabbed a potato and tried the julienne feature first and it worked really well. It was cool but I knew I would never use it. The problem started when I used the page cleaner. Love the jagged cuts he made and the wide blade was good. It's that nifty little detail, the straw, that causes all the problems. The vegetable skin goes straight from the serrated blade into the straw blade, making the next cut impossible because it's now clogged. I had to manually remove each piece of veg each time I made a cut. This made the process very slow and very frustrating. I used it several times and got an ancient knife out of the drawer. This one will likely end up at the bottom of the drawer until one day we clean it and remind ourselves how much we didn't like this cleaner when we really wanted it.
