house; it is located on the T-piece on the hydraulic tank. I had 2 problems: 1. The actual cut-in and cut-out pressures were 50 and 80, not the advertised 40 and 60 so I had to fiddle around to adjust them2. A low pressure shut off, intended to protect the water pump and water tank from leaking (in the event of a downstream water line failure), should be about 10psi below your cut-in pressure, but this switch is probably only a few pounds lower, and from what I understand is it impossible to adapt. So my problem is that if the water pressure drops to a level very close to the cut-in pressure and multiple faucets are opened at roughly the same time, the pressure can suddenly drop below the cut-in level and activate the safety feature, meaning the pump won't start until you turn it on restart manually using the lever on the side of the switch. I have ordered another switch as a backup in case this problem persists.
