More powerful than expected with compression and rebound. Let's see how they behave over time. I challenged myself to find a better solution than a mower seat suspension that would increase operator spacing by 4 inches. I installed a couple of these trailers on my Gravely 44HD. - The seat suspension would have cost more and could have kept my original clearance, which is very important when you load and unload the mower in and out of the trailer 10 times a day. The rebound damper works well, but as others have said, most of the rebound damping only happens in the first 3 or 4 settings. I wish they would offer lower rated springs on the 200mm model as 1500lbs isn't much for this application. I have a few yards that are terribly bumpy and tend to drop them. These bumps made the bumps almost negligible. It would probably be a lot better if the springs broke but after 20 hours on this mower they made a huge difference in how I felt at the end of the day. If anyone knows where to get different 200mm nominal springs let me know. So far good quality for the price. If anyone is wondering what the bearings are for I can tell you that the seat mounting plate rests on the bearings so they rotate as the geometry changes but stays separate so I can still access the service space.
