I have two RHUB-300, one is a year old, the other half a year and there weren't any problems. I don't use them for a lot of traffic - only input devices - so I can't comment on their speed. They are plastic but seem durable. They're pretty bulky, but that's not a problem for me. The adapter is horizontal but large enough that it is likely to block adjacent slots on the vertical power strip, again not a problem for me as I am using a 6 inch 5 pack Outlet Saver 18 AWG power extension cord. It would be nice if companies started using a short power cord all the way to the adapter. I don't give any points to the negatives, because the biggest advantage for me is the general reliability and they have held up without problems.
