The hub is fine, but there is a problem with the power cable

I bought the RHUB-300 model, it included a 5V / 2A power cable. The product worked fine for a short time, but the power cord just stopped working after a few weeks. The device acts as a USB hub regardless of its power supply, but can only be powered by USB (I had a midi keyboard connected, which along with a mouse and keyboard was enough for it to overload and draw too much power ). I had a spare power cable lying around with a similar output and after checking it was definitely the cable as…

The adapter is horizontal but large enough that it is likely to block adjacent slots on the vertical power strip, again not a problem for me as I am using a 6 inch 5 pack Outlet Saver 18 AWG power extension cord. It…

I was looking for a hub that could protect unused ports from dust. It meets this requirement. The description says it is powered from an external 5V supply and there is even a picture showing this. Both units I received have a 12v input and the label on the back also says 12v. I asked a few questions and basically read the webpage. They don't seem to understand that YOUR product reads 12V. Just look at the pictures. It wouldn't make much of a difference, but none of the devices came with a…
