I was looking for a hub that could protect unused ports from dust. It meets this requirement. The description says it is powered from an external 5V supply and there is even a picture showing this. Both units I received have a 12v input and the label on the back also says 12v. I asked a few questions and basically read the webpage. They don't seem to understand that YOUR product reads 12V. Just look at the pictures. It wouldn't make much of a difference, but none of the devices came with a power adapter, although the website says the power adapter is: DC 5V/2A. I don't care if it's 5V or 12V as long as it comes with a power adapter and when I asked questions I was redirected to the misleading description.
