I was looking at a more expensive tool from Park that has a threaded rod going through the hub and before ordering I measured the hub that I had to adjust the most and it was the widest for this one Tool. I figured this might cause problems as frankly things tend to widen as new items come in (think Fat Albert bikes) and I didn't want to spend "a lot of money" and end up with it you may need to replace with anyway. They attach (with Spit quick couplers) to the stand forks and then you mount the wheel with the hub holes on these adapters by tightening the forks. Easy. Just make sure the adapters are securely fastened to the stand's forks before snapping them into place. I have already attached a few wheels with these adapters and have been impressed with their simplicity, durability and efficiency. Simplicity is elegant, and it's both and WORK! PLUS: If you've seen the park tool with a threaded rod, I think it's a much easier and faster solution than messing around with handles and rods, and allows you to quickly switch from one type to another. RECOMMENDED Will be a great addition for anyone exploring 'old style' and new style wheels.
