Review on VIGIND Speedometer Rechargeable Waterproof Headlight by Durioki Cordaro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great all-rounder for your bike!

I needed a flashlight for my old Schwinn, I found it at Revain and decided to try it. I have to say I'm very impressed! I've installed wired speedometers on bikes in the past so it didn't take long and it works very well. Here are some tips to make it work well: 1. Make sure you measure the circumference of the outside of the bike tire (the easiest way to do this is to mark a line on the pavement and place the tire in a straight line line to roll whole curve, then measure distance between start and end). ). You will need this distance (in cm) for the initial setup.2. Make sure the magnet on your spoke is aligned with the bottom of the sensor (the other side of the wire - see my setup picture) - there is a small toggle switch in the sensor that is actuated by the magnet - you can hear the switch activate when you move the magnet close to this part sensor. The gap should be no more than 3mm.3. The horn is LOUD! I wasn't expecting it to be that loud - I don't know how many decibels, but I'm pretty sure it's close to the advertised 120dB. I made the mistake of testing it out in my garage and jumped in thinking I'd set off the alarm or something. The lighting is fairly adequate and bright - even has a cool amber setting for daytime driving.5. The horn connector uses a USB connector, so be careful when connecting a USB cable that is connected to a computer that has a data signal - it will sound the horn!6. The km/h readings are much more accurate - the mph was a bit dubious for me, but I'm fine with km/h. That's all! I think for the price this is a great gadget for your bike - flashlight, horn, speedometer/computer all in one (and it comes with a snazzy taillight too!) The best part is that both lights use internal rechargeable batteries, so none Need to waste money on batteries!

Pros
  • SUPER BRIGHT BICYCLE LIGHT SET: 350 lumens bike headlight with 4 modes (bright light, low light, strobe, amber light), super bright light for excellent visibility in the dark. The bike taillight also has 4 light modes (constant brightness; 3 flashes) to keep a safe distance at night.
Cons
  • Very expensive
