Given the ease of installation and value for money, I would give this MoCA POE filter 5 stars. There are less expensive alternatives, but these alternatives are so cheap that I have my doubts about their reliability. With any POE filter, it's easy to tell that the filter doesn't block signals in the 5-1000MHz range, otherwise the CATV signals wouldn't get through my CATV box. However, to determine if the filter actually blocks the MoCA signals appearing in the 1000-1675MHz frequency range requires some testing, which I haven't done yet. So for now I've accepted the manufacturers' claims that this and other MoCA POE filters actually work as advertised. I installed three MoCA POE filters. First at the "outlet" or entry point of the coax cable into my house, ie to the first splitter (I don't need an RF amplifier, otherwise I would put a filter in front of the amplifier). Second between the coaxial cable and my cable modem. Third between the coaxial cable and my cable box. These three filters prevent signals in the 1000 to 1675 MHz range from leaving my house or interfering with my cable modem or cable box and vice versa.
