Review on ๐Ÿš— Monroe MA837 Max-Air Adjustable Shock Absorber by Dewey Galyon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

When filling with air, oil ran out - all damping was gone. Not the Monroe I remember.

Installation was easy. The instructions say to charge up to 90psi to check for air leaks. While checking for air leaks, I heard an odd noise, similar to a pressure release, and a puddle of shock oil formed on the floor. The truck bounced around a lot like it had no bumps at all. I used to work in the automotive industry as a ride and handling engineer and worked directly with Monroe on struts and shocks for OEM applications. These air shocks are not of the quality I expect from a company like Monroe. I am very disappointed and will be returning them for a refund.
