Review on 💧 Hydronix HF2 10CLWH12 White Clear Body by Aaron Barker

Everything is good on this filter holder except for two 1/2" threaded inlets. I had two completely different standard 1/2" zinc plated fittings and both screwed in quite a bit. One was a 1/2" to 1/4" sleeve. Way to the bushing nut rubbing on the filter housing. The other was a 1/ 2" galvanized plug. It leaked even when screwed in so its last few turns were in the filter housing. Luckily there was a flat surface the plug faced and I was able to get an o-ring between the end of the plug and flat surface. This stopped the leak. Perhaps it would be better to get a block with brass inserts for the threaded parts. Use RectorSeal #5 as hose paste.
