First it took several hours to download all necessary initial software updates over WiFi. I have super fast internet and great connectivity so be aware if yours is different. After it was fully updated, I entered the data for my vehicle manually. It didn't work like it did on the F-Series truck, and even though I had the engine size and year in the data fields, it was still trying to run diagnostics on the F250 150 vise I was connected to. I backed out and let him do an auto lookup and he did a great job pulling out the VIN and using that data automatically. Then I did a scan. I already knew I had a problem with the O2 sensor and which bank. It came back with the correct data, but then things got really good. It automatically streamed videos of exhaust gasket solutions and O2 sensor replacements. He showed the location and accurately showed the O2 sensor removal and replacement video. These readers have come a long way. So far I've really liked this device as it worked as intended even with a very slow cumbersome setup. I was not asked to pay for anything but will let you know if this becomes a problem.
