Review on Oil Rubbed Bronze Citiloc Round Hall/Closet Passage Pocket Door Latch by Adam Roman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Handsome and functional

I chose this lock because my pocket doors were custom made and the width was too wide for the typical rectangular socket fittings. The color is good. Compatible with my other gear. The weight was ok. I have purchased Baldwin egg shaped handles for all of the traditional doors and have appreciated the weight and feel of these handles. My only downside was that you have to line up the deadbolt exactly with the door latch or the lock won't engage. Really don't do it yourself unless you are very accommodating. I asked a woodworker to install them and he complained about the latch. Another negative comment concerns the door handle. It's great that you push the hidden handle in and up and it pops out to open the door. However, if you haven't been told how it works, I don't think the average person knows how to open this door. Overall, I can recommend this device. It looks good and works well. The dealer shipped them quickly and packed them well in a box. I bought 5 in total, 3 walk-throughs and 2 privates and they all arrived new and undamaged.

Pros
  • US11P oiled bronze finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
