I thought this would be the perfect solution but unfortunately as another reviewer mentioned the adjustable one works Just don't part I'm not sure who designed this or if they tried to test it, but any weight placed on the 'adjustable' part of the sill just pushes it down (see photo) A small dog or even a strong draft will suffice. And yes, I installed according to the instructions. It's not like some adjustable sleepers where the screwing action pushes the adjustable piece up, but is held in place by flimsy flange washers - literally the washers are meant to hold this piece of wood without any other support, and you screw it to the correct height I haven't bothered to return it as it didn't take my time who t was to remove and pack it. Difficult under the adjustable part - could have used that time and money to just buy a better designed sill.
