Impossible to install, minimal privacy

As others have said, installing things is a huge headache. Maybe it's easier in small portions. I installed a 35 inch roll through a 5 foot wide window so I worked with a large piece of this material. It kept folding and falling, picking up debris that then got stuck in the window. Even with the mop I bought to install this stuff, the end result is full of wrinkles and little bubbles. It makes my window look like blown glass if you can imagine the kind of bubbles I'm seeing. If you have a beautiful home, chances are you won't be happy with the end result. As for the actual level of privacy this material offers, it offers a bit of privacy, but I wouldn't say any more than regular car window tint. I can still see in my apartment. Perhaps this material will provide more privacy in a very sunny environment. Here in the Pacific Northwest, where it's currently cloudy and rainy (and will be for the next 6 months), these things don't really block much, just make it a little harder for people to see into my apartment. That being said, they've been building new townhouses right outside my window, and I'm not thrilled that people can look straight into my bedroom with my blinds constantly closed. So I'll take any extra privacy I can get. At least I can work from home with my desk by the window without feeling like people are just staring at me all day.
