Took literally 10 minutes to install. I used a soapy water spray bottle. Razor and plastic squeegee. Now I can keep my bedroom window wide open during the day without anyone looking in. These photos were taken in Michigan in February. Privacy from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At night with interior lighting you can see inside.

I tried using these for the back of my car window but it wasn't what they showed in the pictures, in fact you have to apply them to the outside of the surface you applied instead have to install it inside and have a reflective part on the adhesive side. So now rain and weather can get on it and damage it. strongly not recommend.

Installed on the side window on the front door as the heat was unreal. After installation, the difference was VERY noticeable! I did the same in my son's room and from the back door and it shows right away. Our bay window gives off lots of light and warmth, and we're going to put it in now. I have moved to a new location and have multiple windows that receive direct morning sunlight. Because of the summer heat and the early sunrise, it was rather uncomfortable. Film was easy to work with. It helps to have the right tools - a tape measure, a suitable cutting board, a blade, a flat edge ruler (for cutting the film), a sponge (for applying water to the window) and a paper towel/lint - free Towel to remove excess water. I didn't realize until writing this review that the product said not to use it on double glazed windows. However, it works great. As others have said, installing things is a huge headache. Maybe it's easier in small portions. I installed a 35 inch roll through a 5 foot wide window so I worked with a large piece of this material. It kept folding and falling, picking up debris that then got stuck in the window. Even with the mop I bought to install this stuff, the end result is full of wrinkles and little bubbles. It makes my window look like blown glass if you can imagine the kind of bubbles I'm seeing. I am very impressed with this product. The mirror tint is thick and very easy to apply. With a lot of water patience take your time take your time everyone should be able to install. I recommend investing in a good quality window film scraper, preferably a plastic one. Make sure the water on the foil is really good at helping to apply pressure as the water comes out of your squeegee and the applied water doesn't scratch the foil which is easy to adjust and/or position where you need it keep…
