I mounted the camera on the back of a 37ft fifth wheel. I connected it to the camera prep pack which allows me to turn on the camera while driving. I tested the signal strength by positioning my truck 30 feet from the FW and the camera never lost contact. Image quality is much better than cameras I've tried in the past. One such camera was the camera sold as an option with the FW. It cost twice as much, and the picture wasn't nearly as good. I was so impressed with the system that I ordered a second camera. I installed the second camera in the cab and looked out the rear window. This allows me to see the coupling when connecting. I have a folded bedspread that prevents me from seeing the clutch in the mirror. The first picture is the camera on FW. In the second image, a cab-mounted camera is looking at the rear of the truck. In the 3rd photo I installed the monitor in my truck. Image 4 is from the camera on the back of the FW in my driveway. Image 5 from a camera mounted on the rear window of my truck parked back in the driveway. Next I want to contact customer service. I had a little trouble connecting the second camera to the monitor. I have contacted the seller via email. They responded within a day and helped install the second camera successfully. I would highly recommend this camera and would like to thank Jeff at dohonest for his outstanding customer service.
