Review on 🚲 MKS Sylvan Touring Pedal Double-Sided: Superior Performance for Versatile Riding Experiences by Zachary Jackson

It's the pedals, bro

If pedals are the endless debate on the internet, the next thing you'll ALWAYS read is "MKS pedals don't spin right out of the box." TRUE. But I still laugh every time I read about how they spin. It ranks in one of the first places compared to the Bachsattel. That's the problem. If you use sealed pedals you will absolutely notice the difference. Others want you to believe they are not spinning at all. Hardly. I'm approaching this from the perspective of a longtime not-yet-confused bike mechanic and BMX (not on wheels, think deep sexy concrete and no brakes (if you're an uptight cyclist worrying about Instagram photos and talking excitement , you , probably skip my rationale here.)) Pedaling slower means they will stop if my feet come off. It's not a big problem anyway, but I like not landing on the edges. In addition, they are quieter. I'm talking about stealth bikes. Good. So don't freak out. Open the end cap and have a look. If it's really dry you can add some lube (like parking hoses) without loosening anything since the bearings are open enough to take the lube and soak it in. Those are pedals. Feet up, turn around, go
