***If you are looking for a drinking water pitcher, purchase the PN #. 2310. They are made from FDA BPA-free polyethylene. *** I love these plastic pitchers from Scribner. I bought my first one over a decade ago and it's still like new and in use. Very strong and durable. The walls are thick and not prone to cracks or holes. The lid is large and closes well with a gasket. (Gaskets available if lost or burgled - PN # 5222.) I always get an inlet hose for the lid (VP Deluxe Inlet Hose, PN # 3044). You simply remove the top 3/4" NPT male connector and screw in the inlet hose. I have several colors of these jugs depending on what they are being used for. These jugs are approximately 22" tall and 9.5" wide .
