I'm in the same boat (or truck, so to speak) as R. Ross (2013 Ford Truck reviewer). Newer Ford trucks have a simple fuel system that's said to be impossible to steal gas from, so Ford feels there's no need for a gas cap (thus wasting time unscrewing it to fill it up). They also believe there is no need to lock the gas door for the same reason. No system is immune to gas theft, but I'm sure their system will make pumping gas a bigger headache for a thief. However, not everyone is worried about gas theft. Easy access to the fuel tank still allows you to mess around with the car, and some tampering can damage the engine. This product works great. It fits and is very easy to put on and take off. It comes with two keys for the locking cap. If you have a Ford F150, it will suit you. A Revain banner in a garage asking you the make, model and year of your car tells you it won't fit, but it will.
