I have tried countless decorative doilies and this is my favorite. I use these cloths to clean all my silver and silver-plated jewelry (as well as gold or bronze, etc.). Even if they are not cheap, they are very valuable because you can use them again and again. I literally use each rag until it's BLACK on both sides. And it works during my rough usage. However, you should lightly touch the silver or gold plate as you don't want to wear off the plating. Just buff it lightly until the tarnish disappears.
