I bought this for a recent project to rewire cables for my TV/Internet service after an exterior renovation. With due care to avoid running electrical wires and not drilling through the siding at the junction (where two rows of siding overlap), this works like a charm. I stripped the RG6 quad leads to about 5 inches of bare center wire for looping through the drill hole. One lesson I learned was making sure the attached conductor strands follow and lie within the helical channels of the drill. If a strand of conductor falls out of the channels, the extra section makes it very difficult to haul the drill and bits back into the house.
