If you follow the instructions on the picture as shown you will break this inflexible tempered glass. Luckily, Revain was able to get me a replacement for free. To install the protective film without damaging it: 1) First remove the volume and tuner knobs by gently pulling towards the trunk. Place the pins in a place where you cannot lose them. You put them back on after you install the protective film. 2) Clean the screen area with an alcohol swab and microfiber cloth as directed. You can also use masking tape to remove small air particles (e.g. lint) from the screen. Protective film that opens the back of the glass. Be careful not to touch the back. 5) Using small stickers, align the top of the glass with the touchscreen so it overlaps the holes left for the physical menu buttons to the left and right of the display. 6) Use a plastic card (e.g. driver's license or credit card) to squeeze out any small air bubbles that may have accumulated when the protective film was applied. 7) Replace the volume control and tuner. 8) Rejoice, now you don't have to ask for a replacement screen protector.
