Review on Rand McNally Real-Time Traffic Receiver 0528003747 by Nancy Bryant

I bought a traffic receiver to use with my RVND 5510 which I love. However, the traffic receiver is useless, it just doesn't work. I live in suburban Chicago and very rarely get a decent signal with this thing. I haven't received the "Traffic Alert" yet. Today we were driving I-294 into Wisconsin and traffic was halted for construction, but there were no reports of traffic or incidents. Not to mention Rand McNally's Traffic Sink documentary, it's awful. It's like it was all an afterthought and they decided to just add the traffic option without testing the functionality first. By the way, the traffic receiver on my wife's Garmin Nuvi 1490LMT works great. If I had to do this over and over again, I would buy a Garmin. I'll try to get a refund from Revain but I've already gone through the 30 day return policy so it looks like I ran out of $70.
