That does not work! Best in GPS, Finder & Accessories

I thought it would be a great addition to my GPS but I have a pop up truck and live in northern Wisconsin it generally works Not. When he goes to sister cities, he also doesn't get a signal. The suction cups never stick either.

Pros
  • Navteq Traffic Lifetime Subscription
Cons
  • Something Else

Could be better: GPS accessories

It works when it wants to. Bought July 2012. Went to Harrisonburg, Virginia, had a backup on I-81 but didn't take that with me. I thought what is it for? I think I wasted my money I can get so much information from CB radio chat. NOT HAPPY with this product.

Pros
  • Step-by-step instructions with detailed drawings
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Problem with connector where it connects to GPS, TND 710

It took me a few months to understand and isolate the problem when the traffic receiver connects to my TND 710 GPS manufactures. This will drain the GPS battery, etc. When I connect a receiver to it, the red light on the GPS comes on, but a slight tweak of the cable causes the light to go on and off. The standard charging cable works great when connected to the GPS.

Pros
  • Compatible with Intelliroute TND 510 and 710
Cons
  • too dumb

Useless! Don't waste money

I bought a traffic receiver to use with my RVND 5510 which I love. However, the traffic receiver is useless, it just doesn't work. I live in suburban Chicago and very rarely get a decent signal with this thing. I haven't received the "Traffic Alert" yet. Today we were driving I-294 into Wisconsin and traffic was halted for construction, but there were no reports of traffic or incidents. Not to mention Rand McNally's Traffic Sink documentary, it's awful. It's like it was all an afterthought and…

Pros
  • Antenna cable with multiple suction cups to extend receiver range
Cons
  • Safety
