I've been in the Garmin hiking and cycling universe for over a decade and have used at least ten different devices over the years. I still own and use some of these. As usual, Garmin released good hardware with a lot of bugs in the software. It costs me too much to be a beta tester. I returned it. You can follow the current state of affairs in the Garmin Edge 1030 plus forum. I will continue to follow and buy again if they end up removing things that annoy me.
