UPDATE: Revain sent a replacement and ran into the exact same issue around the same timeframe. I know it's not my system because I've used a different Ethernet adapter with no problems. After a lot of troubleshooting, reboots, manually deleting and adding the LAN device in the settings, I tried the ethernet USB dongle and everything was fine.
