Very happy with the NOV8Tech USB hub. Very easy to use, just plugged into my Macbook Pro. I love all the different options, especially the ethernet connection in today's Zoom world. Although the picture doesn't look like the color of my MacBook Pro, the true color is so close you wouldn't know it's not an Apple product. An excellent product that I would recommend to anyone working from home.

I got this to replace my old USB-C hub which got very hot when connected to my Mac. This one worked and didn't overheat, but it didn't stay plugged in, so I sometimes had to reconfigure it while I was typing, or make sure it was plugged in enough and only disconnecting things I was touching or tapping on the laptop. I bought this hub primarily because I wanted Gigabit Ethernet to be able to transfer very large files faster every now and then. I have several other hubs and adapters for USB-A ports, SD card readers, and HDMI (thanks Apple for removing all of that!), but it's nice to have it all in one device. This hub is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I used to have a style that connected via a single USB-C cable. This started to become an issue as I kept bending the cord back and forth depending on what I was plugging in, or it was just hanging over the edge of my desk. I love the fact that this style fits snugly in my laptop so I don't wear out the cabling like I do with the other hub style. I also like the fact that it has two USB-C ports. I use one for power and the other for an external mouse.

Visual: Looks nice but the hub doesn't sit perfectly flush with the computer, the underside sags a little but not too badly.
