Review on Layrite Natural Matte Cream 4 25: Achieve Effortless Styling and Natural Finish for All Hair Types by Justin Stinson

This is a fantastic product when you want a more natural look and medium hold. It is very easy to work with and also VERY easy to rinse off. I wouldn't say the finish is fully matte, but it's certainly what's traditionally considered glossy. To be clear, I hate glossy finishes and this product more than meets my needs for a "matte" finish. It has a pleasant smell, but I wouldn't call it a neutral smell. To me it smells a bit oily and maybe with a hint of vanilla. Very, very pleasant. Just not neutral (if that matters to anyone). (3-5 inches and longer (5-7 inches). To be clear, this product does NOT have a strong hold. You can create a stronger hold with hairspray. (Spray is recommended.) Or you can try a firmer product, like Layrite Cement Clay.Sometimes I mix the two ingredients in different proportions depending on what type of hold I need that day.
