Started looking for these blocks after a visit to Legoland as my 2 year old fell in love with the large rubber blocks they scattered throughout the park. While they're not that big (or heavy), they've given him hours of fun folding, patting, and folding again. They feel nice and sturdy, and even have enough material that if the tower falls on your foot, it might hurt a little (as it has happened to me a few times). Very happy with them!
