Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Efficient Oil Spill Solution: Hopkins FloTool 10709 Spill Saver Oil Funnel by Ron Kishore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Use it in the kitchen and enjoy!

I dehydrate products when I stumble across a product that can't get past this sale and when I'm ready to bag and seal it I want to get my housework done as soon as possible. I work with oxygen scavengers and a vacuum sealer. It has a funnel wide enough for dehydrated food to pass through easily, and I can take two handfuls of dehydrated food and pour them into the bowl easily with no mess. It doesn't sit flat on the can mouth, but that's a plus for this use as the angle at which it rests on the can mouth helps dehydrated food slide through the hopper section more easily and without coaxing me. The task of getting dehydrated foods to their new homes faster, cleaner and more efficiently is now a pleasure. I used to be scared of this part because I could make such a mess. Even a regular wide mouth dosing funnel doesn't work that well because part of the funnel can get clogged and I then have to stop what I'm doing by wiggling on a regular can funnel or teasing the clogged food through the funnel portion with a knife. This has saved me so much time and effort in the kitchen that I absolutely love the funnel for filling your car with oil. So I was afraid the men in the family would steal it for its intended use so I went back and got enough for everyone plus a few extras. And mine? Well I'll hide mine in the kitchen so they can't find it if they're too lazy to look for theirs! I doubt it's food grade plastic and I can't make out anything from the label on the side. from the fact that it's BPA-free so I would never use it as a regular funnel in the kitchen for cooked, wet, hot or liquid foods, but I understand the speed at which dehydrated foods pass through this thing and the fact that these foods are also crunchy critters that don't stay in long enough to get dirty.
