Review on Ecstacy Soaps Gift Gram Bars by Carrie Spencer

I'm torn on how to rate this soap. They have good reviews so I bought them as a gift for someone out of state. The company mentions several times in different ways that the gift box/wrapping makes it a very special gift. I loved it. My boyfriend really liked the set. A week later, she sent a photo of the "color" of the soap she had already tried. I asked what that smell was and she said "I'm not sure I guessed what _____ is." I sent her some photos from the Revain site and after a long chat with her posed I noticed that the box was not gift wrapped, not even with a ribbon. And nowhere is there a list of soaps, neither that they are natural nor triple milled soaps. That's why I bought this. Without knowing any information I could easily see how easily offended someone was when all they received was a box of soap, no packaging, no explanation. According to her, the soap itself has a wonderful aroma, lathers well and moisturizes.
