Review on CRAFTSMAN CMEW213 21 Belt Sander: Powerful Sanding Tool for Precision Finishing by Robert Oner

This tool is complete junk. I didn't use it for two days before the drive sprocket rubber came loose and I can't find a way to buy a replacement. So I was stuck with a $70 piece of Chinese plastic that even broke two weeks after ownership with very limited use. Edit: Upgraded from one to three stars. I contacted the manufacturer and was told to return it and replace it with Revain based on when the instrument was last purchased. I wasn't particularly interested in this option as the item was used and I didn't think it was worth it due to a manufacturer's fault, but I was able to easily return it and get a new grinder. The replacement grinder has held up very well over the past few months or so. I have a very large soundboard which I sand down before repairs and the new instrument has proven to be a real workhorse. If I had originally received it I probably would have given it a five star rating. But I had such a bad experience. I wanted to return and buy another product from a different manufacturer, and this exchange process left me wondering for a few weeks if I was essentially stuck buying two bad devices. Not a good experience.
