I bought this for our M/C trip to Key West. We got caught in the rain by .a lot. We left on the first day, but everything stayed dry here. I used a cargo mesh bungee to hold it on top of our 2017 FLHTK Tour Pak, and while it's not perfect for that, it worked great during our two-week, 3,800-mile, eight-state vacation trip. The bottom is a bit odd, with a sturdier hull shape that you wouldn't typically associate with a duffel, but that's not a problem. We stuffed two smaller, more traditional holdalls into it along with a few other items, so we were pretty happy with the capacity of this item. It's always tricky tying large luggage to a bike, so in the end this probably worked just as well as anything else we've used before, with the added benefit of being virtually waterproof.
